Waxing. How is it done in a beauty salon?
The procedure for removing unwanted hair with wax is becoming more and more popular in salons. Of course, not all women decide to go to this professional master. Many people prefer to remove unwanted vegetation on their own at home. Why is this happening? Someone is sorry to spend money on this procedure, and someone may just be shy. In this article, I will talk in detail about salon depilation and how professional masters do this procedure. Perhaps after reading one of the women decides to go to the salon, and the men will think about how much the women are ready to do to please them – the men. So, after you come to the salon and tell the master about your desire to make waxing, you will have to thoroughly diagnose the skin before starting the procedure. A professional cosmetologist will individually select the type of wax specifically for your skin and advise on the best way to care for your skin after hair removal in order to slow down hair growth and prevent it from growing under the skin. And if there are injuries, wounds or scratches on the skin, the cosmetologist will offer to postpone the procedure until they heal. At the very beginning of the procedure you will be laid on a soft couch or cosmetic chair. Then the skin is cleaned with a special disinfecting lotion and dried with napkins, since wax is applied only to dry, clean skin. Often, in salons, masters use tonic lotions with menthol. Menthol creates a pleasant cooling effect on the skin and reduces discomfort during the procedure. While the beautician thoroughly and gently cleanses your skin, the wax cartridge is heated in a special applicator-heater. As soon as the wax heats up to a temperature of 45-50 degrees and becomes liquid, it will be applied in a very thin layer to your skin, strictly according to hair growth. And then the most interesting: on top of the wax, the master imposes a special paper towel, presses it tightly with his hand and … with a sharp movement of the hand removes this towel. Together with unwanted hair, of course. This procedure, although not very pleasant, is still less painful than the same procedure at home. After hair removal, the master will immediately apply a special tool on the skin that slows down hair growth. It selectively acts on the hair follicle, destroys its cells and increases the interval between hair removal procedures. Professional lotions that slow down hair growth are not sold in ordinary stores, as this is a very concentrated product. Typically, such funds are contained in ampoules and are used only by professional cosmetologists. At the end of the procedure, the master takes a little look at your skin: it will remove irritation, redness, soften and moisturize it. For this, special products are used – oils, foams, gels and emulsions – with natural extracts of herbs. Perhaps for home use, the master will offer you to purchase some kind of peeling or cream based on fruit acids. This tool is really worth buying, as it not only exfoliates dead skin cells, but also prevents hair ingrowth after all types of depilation. Well, so that your skin remains beautiful, delicate and smooth at any time, do not forget to regularly use a nourishing cream or body milk. It’s not difficult at all!
